The Brotherhood Endowment

The Brotherhood Endowment at the Emily Krzyzewski Center was established as a scholarship to support talented, low-income Durham students on their journey toward college. This important fund was created by former Duke University men’s basketball players and managers as a way to honor Coach K and his influence on their lives.

Coach K founded the Emily K Center and named it for his mother, who believed education could change lives. Gifts made to this endowment will help provide academic support, school supplies, test preparation, and more to students at the Center while also ensuring that this important place is around for years to come. Our goal is to raise an additional $100,000 in 2020 to support this initiative.

None of us came through Coach’s program unchanged, and that’s what we want for the Emily K Center kids. Our goal is for the Duke Basketball family to step forward and support the place Coach loves so much.
